Protein Supps are expensive.

Maximuscle is getting expensive to use in bulk considering that I am off my creatine cycle and so I have four scoops of Promax a day.

Daily supplement routine:
  • Early morning / Upon waking: Protein Shake 1, CLA, EFAs, Multivitamins, L Carnitine, Thermobolics, Ultra Water, with complex carb i.e BIG bowl of Oats, starting loading 750ml of water pre gym.
  • Mid-morning / Post resistance workout: Protein Shake 2, Flapjacks (slow and fast carbs), and piece of fruit.
  • Lunch: Soup and salad, CLA, EFAs
  • Late Afternoon: Protein Shake 3, CLA, EFA's, and piece of fruit.
  • Dinner: Ideally Meat / Fish with plenty of veg and low carb content... this I try but rarely happens. Carbs... guhhhhh can't get enough of them it seems.
  • Before bed: Protein Shake 4 - taken with milk not water for higher casein levels.

Protein supplement intake: 97.2g dry matter protein

When I was using Cyclone protein shakes 1 and 2 are cyclone shakes.

Protein supplement intake: 108.6g dry matter protein

I'm getting my Cyclone for £89.98 for 3 tubs and I get a free shaker and flapjacks thrown in with that. That's £29.93 a tub delivered to my door.

Promax is 4 tubs for £89.98 and same extras. Working out at £22.50 a tub. Just under a kilo for £23.

At the minute I am using the "Ripped Kit" that i bought from GNC in New York. It's the Pro Performance Range and I got it for USD40! Contains all of the above additional supps, excluding the multivits which are Sanatogen Gold.

Doing my research... let's see what I can find...
